Danielle
Front Desk Manager/Receptionist
Danielle has been with the team at Companion Animal Hospital since 2011, and she cannot imagine working anywhere else. Danielle graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 2010 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015.
Danielle married Austin in August of 2019. They have 2 dogs: Mango and Lily and 3 cats: Karma, Portabella and Bobbi.
Fun Fact: Danielle is quite the artist, and is not related to Katie (she loves this fun fact).
Mal
Receptionist
Mal joined the Companion team in early 2022 after moving back to Hammond. They’ve called six states home, and have visited many others. Their favorite place is Homer, Alaska. Mal is working towards starting their undergraduate studies and hopes to become a veterinarian one day. Their only pet is a senior pup dubbed Sir Wallace. Mal wants to learn as much as possible about all different types of animals. Their favorite non-dog animal fact is that jellyfish have no brains or hearts!
Mal spends their free time reading, playing board games, or binge watching tv shows with their friends. You might randomly catch them at a karaoke night but you should assume they were forced into it, since they are incapable of carrying a tune.
